Japan and South Korea concluded Saturday to launch talks to resume a banking barter understanding following a death in Feb final year, a dual countries pronounced Saturday, apparently reflecting new alleviation in shared ties.

In talks between financial officials of a dual countries, a South Korean supervision due to strengthen shared mercantile ties and settle a new barter arrangement as a token of a cooperation, a Japanese Finance Ministry said.

The banking barter understanding “will be an critical post of a mercantile cooperation, as it contributes to tolerable mercantile expansion by compelling shared trade and investment,” Japanese Finance Minister Taro Aso told reporters in Seoul.
