UK Championship 2016: Ronnie O’Sullivan pots two flukes

Five-time champion Ronnie O’Sullivan raced into the third round of the UK Championship with a second successive 6-0 win at the York Barbican.

O’Sullivan gave Scotland’s Rhys Clark a sniff of an opening in the first frame before taking advantage of his opponent’s nerves in ruthless fashion.

Breaks of 112, 79 and 82 earned a 4-0 interval lead.

The world number eight rounded off the simplest of afternoon’s work with further breaks of 81 and a stylish 131.
