Chelsea Ladies will play at Stamford Bridge for the first time as their 2016-17 Women’s Champions League campaign begins at home against last season’s finalists Wolfsburg.
The two sides met in the round of 16 last term but, with Chelsea unseeded, face each one round earlier this year.
Wolfsburg, who are two-time European champions and were the German Frauen Bundesliga runners-up in 2015-16, beat Chelsea 4-1 on aggregate last season.
Chelsea were English champions in 2015.
Chelsea and England winger Gemma Davison told BBC Sport:
“It’s a challenge and we’re thriving off playing at Stamford Bridge. We can’t wait to get going.
“Wolfsburg are one of the best teams in Europe at the moment and they displayed that last year.
“We’ve got a lot of respect for them. We want to put things right from last season and show that we’ve grown as a squad and a club as well.”
On playing at Stamford Bridge: “It will be amazing. This is what I think all clubs should be doing, really.
“We’re used to the big atmospheres now, from playing at Wembley, so I think we’re a team that thrives off the crowd and will be spurned on by that.”
